Mark (Micky) McDonough at Northpoint Mortgage helped me buy my FIRST HOME !! I heard the horror stories about the home-buying process, but once it was over I was expecting way more... and thought "oh, that was it !?" He's been a Loan Officer longer than I have been alive . He knows what he is doing, and made it so EASY ! He is so personable, taking my comments, concerns, questions (even when I started with, "this might be a silly question, but...") very seriously and to heart . He was very patient with me. SOMEHOW, he could tell through the phone when I not understanding something . Without even asking him, he'd start explaining in layman's terms for my first-time-buyer mind to comprehend ( LOL ) . He was never too busy to take my phone calls, and called me checking we were all on the same page every step of the way. With Mark as my Loan Officer and my awesome realtor, I closed in less than a MONTH with a great rate on a conventional loan, AND got me savings in lender credits- something I would have had no idea about otherwise. I highly recommend Mark (Micky ! ) McDonough at Northpoint Mortgage to everyone buying a home , ESPECIALLY if you are a first time home buyer like me ! P.S. I LIVE IN FLORIDA ! Mark helped me refinance my condo last year, and was extremely helpful throughout the process. He kept me informed of updates throughout the process, made the process of document gathering as painless as possible, was highly responsive when I had questions, and overall was great to work with. Costs came in right where Mark said they would - I would definitely work with him again, if I have the opportunity for another refi or purchase.

Mark was a pleasure to work with and made this entire process much easier than I had expected. I've always found the refinancing process to be a bit confusing and Mark was able to break things down and explain it all to me so that I was completely comfortable with the terms. Overall the experience was simple & transparent, and I would definitely recommend him to others.

Mark is clearly a seasoned professional, and is extremely knowledgeable in his field. Aside from his professional knowledge, he was very responsive, amiable and overall was a pleasure to work with throughout the process. The process itself was fairly simple, and Mark was in constant contact with us to give us updates and gather the requisite information/documentation. I would highly recommend Mark to anyone looking for mortgage services, particularly those that may be new to the process as he has a ton of experience, which is comforting in what can be a daunting process.
